Dr. Tanjia M. Coleman is a visionary human resources and inclusive culture executive with over
18 years of experience across healthcare, education, non-profit, and Fortune 100 companies
including Microsoft, Starbucks, Tribune Company, Whirlpool, Sears, and Motorola. Most
recently, she served as the System Assistant Vice President, at Endeavor Health—a $3.2 billion
healthcare organization with 27,000 employees—where she led system-wide organizational
strategies with a strong focus on workforce equity, physician pipeline development, community
health equity partnerships, and supplier inclusion.
In this role, Dr. Coleman developed educational modules for over 27,000 employees, launched
physician equity initiatives to reduce disparities in care and training, and implemented a supplier
inclusion program that increased spend year-over-year spend.
Dr. Coleman is the Founder and President of Reimagine OD, Inc., a woman- and minority-owned
consulting firm that partners with Fortune 500 companies and nonprofit organizations to deliver
results-driven inclusive culture and leadership strategies. She is also a faculty member at Loyola
University’s Quinlan School of Business and a founding board member of its Diversity, Equity &
Inclusion Leadership Institute Certification Program.
Previously, she served as Chief Human Resources Officer at YWCA Metropolitan Chicago,
where she led talent strategies to support a 52% growth in operations and positioned HR as a
strategic driver of impact. As Senior Director of Human Resources at KinderCare Education, she
was responsible for 20,000 employees and led employee engagement efforts that earned national recognition from Gallup.
Dr. Coleman is certified in multiple leadership and assessment tools including Hogan,
Benchmarks 360, Forte Communication, Behavioral-IQ, IDI, DiSC, StrengthsFinder, Servant
Leadership, and Situational Leadership. She is also the author of 3 Second World Essentials for
Engineering Your Future and host of the EWOC Podcast, now in its 40th episode. She was
recently recognized with the Women Changing the World award and has been featured on FOX
News Chicago and Becker’s Healthcare podcast.
Her academic achievements include a Ph.D. in Organization Development from Benedictine
University, where her research was published in Recherches en Sciences de Gestion. She also
holds a Master of Science in Employee and Industrial Relations from Loyola University and a
Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from DePaul University.
Dedicated to community service, Dr. Coleman supports philanthropic efforts through
organizations such as St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the K.I.N.D. Fund (UNICEF),
Imerman Angels, YWCA, and Feed My Starving Children.
